Canary Islands Tourism Awards 2021

𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏

Once again this year, the Canary Islands Government, through its Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Trade, gave out the Canary Islands Tourism Awards 2021, this time with the excuse of Cumbre Vieja volcano on La Palma, whose eruption led, for obvious reasons, to the postponement of the awards ceremony from 27 September to yesterday, 18 October.

The winners on this occasion were:

• 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐎𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 (Award for Excellence 2021)
• 𝐀𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢́𝐚𝐬 𝐝𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬 (APITs Canarias de La Palma, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria) (Award for the International Projection of the Canary Islands 2021).

This award for the International Projection of the Canary Islands 2021 was an award to all the Canarian APITs and therefore to all its members and in the case of APIT Gran Canaria it was 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐂𝐓 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞.  

LCT Europe would like to 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 for receiving such an important award, both to Fred Olsen Express for its award for excellence in service and its strong commitment to the Canary Islands for several decades and to each and every one of the APITs Canarias 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬, who with their daily work have become 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 of our islands, carrying out an important work of promotion and defence of the natural and cultural heritage of our land. 

Congratulations to all of them for having received such important and well-deserved awards from the Government of the Canary Islands.
